The length of time a client attends therapy can be agreed between the client and myself at the beginning of the therapy, and will depend on the issues that need to be addressed. Sessions uasually last for one hour and the fee is €50 per hour.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Confidentiality

Contents of all art therapy sessions are considered to be confidential. Confidentiality is an important part of the relationship between a client and therapist and it is protected by the law.

Exceptions include the following:

• Suspected child abuse, dependent adult abuse, or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm himself/ herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety by creating a safety plan. If they do not cooperate, I am required by law to contact legal authorities and make reasonable attempts to notify the family of the client without their permission.
